Thermaltake Introduces New UX400 Series CPU Air Coolers
Thermaltake has expanded its entry-level range of CPU air coolers with the latest UX400 series. This series includes three models: ARGB Sync White, ARGB Sync Black, and matte black. These coolers feature a single-tower design, measuring 125 mm × 92 mm × 152 mm, and are equipped with four Ø6 mm U-shaped copper direct-contact heat pipes.
The Thermaltake UX400 series comes with a 120 mm fan that offers PWM speeds ranging from 700 to 1800 RPM. This fan provides an airflow of 62.72 CFM, a static pressure of 1.47 mm-H2O, and a noise level of 25.0 dBA. The ARGB Sync model of the UX400 features 9 addressable LEDs that can be customized using 5 V motherboard sync software from ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE, BIOSTAR, and ASRock.
With a cooling capacity of 240 W TDP, the UX400 is compatible with Intel and AMD CPUs, including the latest LGA1851 and AM5 CPU sockets. It bears a resemblance to the UX200 SE series launched in 2023, with improvements in the heatpipes areas for better clearance and an updated 120 mm fan.
As for pricing, the Thermaltake UX400 ARGB Sync (Black, CL-P142-AL12SW-A / White, CL-P143-AL12SW-A) are available on Thermaltake's Taiwan website for NT$790.00 (approximately $24), while the UX400 (Matte Black, CL-P149-AL12BL-A) is priced at NT$690.00 (roughly $21).
