At Computex 2023, G.Skill showcased its latest DDR5 memory kits, including high-performance kits with non-standard 24 GB DIMM densities. The G.Skill booth featured several custom PC builds, including a xenomorph egg, a glass pyramid, an Intel semiconductor wafer, and a sci-fi drilling platform. The Trident Z5 series of DDR5 memory is the centerpiece of G.Skill's current-gen lineup. The company displayed a W790 + Xeon W9-3495X workstation build with an 8-channel, 384 GB (8x 48 GB) DDR5-6000 memory setup, with tight timings of 30-39-39-96T. G.Skill also demonstrated the speed of its non-standard capacity DIMMs, including a DDR5-6800 96 GB (2x 48 GB) build with 34-46-46-108 timings. The highlight of the showcase was a build with 48 GB memory (2x 24 GB) and DDR5-8000, with timings of 40-48-48-128. G.Skill even performed a live overclocking event, pushing the memory to DDR5-8800 speed. The memory module models include special gold and silver-chrome variants of the Trident Z5 RGB, as well as the debut of the Trident Z5 Royal, with its premium aesthetic and crushed-ice LED diffuser. The G.Skill booth also featured several boutique custom PC builds, including a xenomorph egg, a glass pyramid, an Intel semiconductor wafer, and a sci-fi drilling platform.
