AMD has officially launched the Ryzen AI Halo Developer Platform mini PC, now available for pre-order through Micro Center in the United States. Announced in May 2026, this compact powerhouse is designed primarily for AI developers seeking advanced hardware for machine learning and artificial intelligence workloads.
High-Performance Hardware for AI Development
The Ryzen AI Halo mini PC is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, featuring integrated Radeon 8060S graphics. Both available configurations come equipped with an impressive 128 GB of LPDDR5x-8000 memory, shared between the CPU and GPU cores, ensuring high-speed data access and efficient multitasking for demanding AI applications.
Storage is equally robust, with a 2 TB SSD included as standard. The system is supported by a 120 W power supply unit, providing ample power for intensive computational tasks.
Operating System Options and Pricing
Two SKUs are available, differentiated only by their operating systems: one ships with Linux, while the other comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro. Both versions are priced at $3,999. As of now, AMD has not confirmed a specific shipping date for the developer kits.
