Corsair Enters Exclusive Negotiations to Acquire Endor AG
Corsair has announced today that it is in exclusive negotiations to acquire sim racing specialist Endor AG, the owners of the renowned Fanatec brand. As part of the agreement, Corsair will provide funding for Endor's short-term cash needs while working towards restructuring Endor's €70 million debt. This restructuring will ultimately lead to Corsair acquiring Endor.
"Fanatec is a well-respected brand with a dedicated community, and we believe that Corsair is the perfect fit for Fanatec's loyal customers, employees, and business partners," said Corsair CEO Andy Paul. "This acquisition will help alleviate Endor's significant debt burden and set the company up for future growth and expansion of its product portfolio."
Endor's CEO and Chief Restructuring Officer, Andres Ruff, expressed similar sentiments, stating, "We are thrilled to have Corsair as a strategic investor who understands our market and is committed to long-term investment." Endor is a leading manufacturer of sim racing hardware, including force feedback steering wheels, pedals, and complete cockpits for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC-based racing simulators. This acquisition strengthens Corsair's presence in the simulation industry and positions the company as a leader in providing top-notch sim racing solutions.
