After various speculations, rumors, and leaks, it has been confirmed that Lenovo is indeed developing a handheld gaming console called the Legion Go, which is expected to launch in the near future. The latest leak reveals that the device will be powered by an AMD Ryzen Z1 APU and will feature detachable controllers similar to the JoyCons found on the Nintendo Switch. It will run on the Windows 11 operating system and may be compatible with the Legion AR Glasses.

Unfortunately, the leaked information from Windowsreport.com does not provide specific specifications. However, based on the pictures, it can be seen that the Legion Go will include dual speakers, two microphones, a microSD card reader, two USB-C ports, a dedicated FPS switch, a mouse wheel, an integrated kickstand, and an AMD Ryzen Z1 APU, similar to the ASUS ROG Ally. It is unclear whether it will be equipped with the Ryzen Z1 or the Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU.

The source of the leak also suggests that Lenovo may release the Legion AR Glasses, which could be a standalone device or potentially be paired with the Legion Go. There are still many unknown details, but it seems that Lenovo is creating a device that combines elements from the Steam Deck, ASUS ROG Ally, and Nintendo Switch, which could be a successful combination if executed properly. Although there is no information available regarding the price or launch date, rumors indicate that it may be unveiled at the IFA 2023 show, starting on September 1st in Berlin, Germany. Hopefully, more information will be revealed soon.
