Yesterday, AMD unveiled the latest Ryzen Threadripper 7000 and AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 WX series designed for socket sTR5. ARCTIC has introduced the Freezer 4U-M, a robust cooling solution for these power-hungry CPUs that boast up to 96 cores, 5.35 GHz, and 350 Watt TDP. This new generation of workstation processors, also known as Storm Peak, offers a significant performance improvement compared to the previous series. AMD has thoroughly tested the ARCTIC Freezer 4U-M for these high-performance CPUs and it has successfully met the specified performance requirements.

To ensure optimal airflow, the single-tower cooler with a push-pull fan setup is specifically optimized for the east-west socket orientation (back-exhaust setup) commonly found in most Threadripper and EPYC boards. Unlike other cooler manufacturers, this cooler provides direct airflow in both desktop and server cases. The Freezer 4U-M is also compatible with AMD's SP6, SP3, TR4, sTRX4, and sWRX8 sockets, as well as Intel's LGA4189 and LGA4677 sockets.
