NVIDIA's upcoming mid-life refresh for its GeForce RTX 40-series "Ada" product stack introduces three new SKUs, with the leading model being the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER. According to BenchLife, the RTX 4080 SUPER will come with a standard memory size of 20 GB and will be based on the larger "AD102" silicon. To achieve this, the SKU will utilize a 320-bit wide memory interface, which is a portion of the available 384-bit on the silicon. The "AD102" silicon features 144 streaming multiprocessors (SM) on die, with the flagship RTX 4090 configured with 128 SMs. NVIDIA has the option to choose an SM count for the RTX 4080 SUPER that is lower than the RTX 4090 but higher than the current RTX 4080's 76 SMs.
