Be quiet! Announces New Pure Wings 3 Fan Series

German manufacturer Be quiet! has unveiled its latest mainstream fan series, Pure Wings 3. Designed for a range of applications, from demanding workstations to entry-level gaming builds, Pure Wings 3 offers a low minimum rpm and high top-end speed. The fan's optimized frame and newly designed blades result in exceptional performance on radiators and extraordinary air pressure.

Pure Wings 3 is available in two sizes (120 mm and 140 mm) and three versions (3-pin, 4-pin PWM, 4-pin PWM high-speed). The high-speed versions feature an innovative closed loop motor to maintain stable rpm regardless of resistance. This ensures outstanding reliability and longevity for gaming systems.

Optimized for Air Pressure and Airflow

Pure Wings 3's fan frame outlet is newly designed to minimize air leaks, benefiting radiator performance. The fan blades are also optimized, with adjusted angles to achieve greater air pressure. This results in unprecedented performance in its class. Additionally, Pure Wings 3 excels as a case fan, offering maximum airflow and cooling performance for any case configuration. The airflow-optimized blades reduce noise and provide the necessary performance, even in demanding setups. With a low starting rpm and proven rifle bearing technology, Pure Wings 3 fans are extremely quiet and boast a lifespan of 80,000 hours.

High-Speed Version with Closed Loop Motor

The high-speed versions of Pure Wings 3, the 120 mm PWM high-speed and 140 mm PWM high-speed, are specifically designed for demanding configurations. These models increase the maximum speed to 2100 rpm and 1600 rpm respectively, with 9 airflow-optimized fan blades. This results in high air pressure of up to 2.41 mm/H2O for the 120 mm version and 2.44 mm/H2O for the 140 mm version. The high-speed models also feature a unique closed loop motor, similar to cruise control in cars. This technology constantly monitors and adjusts the rpm to maintain the desired speed, regardless of resistance.
