EK Announces Compatible GPU Water Blocks for ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 OG Edition
Leading liquid cooling gear manufacturer EK has exciting news for liquid cooling enthusiasts. They have announced the availability of compatible GPU water blocks for the OG Editions of the ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards. These OG Edition GPUs have physical differences in their PCB, requiring a different GPU water block than the 4090 Strix and TUF models.
After thorough research and examination of the GPU, EK's RnD team has determined that the OG Edition 4090 TUF is compatible with the EK-Quantum Vector² Strix/TUF RTX 3090 Ti water block and EK-Quantum Vector² Strix/TUF RTX 3090 Ti ABP (Active Backplate) Set. It's important to note that the models of the GPU should not be confused with the "OC" marking, but rather with the newly added "OG" suffix in the product name. The PCB of the ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 and its OC variant is shown on the left, while the PCB of the OG Edition and its OC variant are shown on the right. These two variants have visible physical distinctions, including differences in shape, size, and components used. The OG variant can be easily identified by its large PCB. As a result, the ASUS TUF RTX 4090 OG Edition is compatible with the following:
